Pot and Sip Pottery workshop (1.5hr)

Service Description
The 1.5hr Pot and Sip Pottery Workshop is an in depth beginner pottery workshop. In the class you will learn the 3 basic shapes on the wheel. Flatware, bowls and Cylinders (Mugs) and if you have time try the additional challenge of making a vase at the end. The class is a more serious approach to jumping on the wheel with a step by step guide through all the shapes so no one gets left behind, things are taken slowly to make the experience as relaxing and fun as possible. This class is designed so you can bring a couple of drinks and enjoy getting messy with the clay. To secure your spot msg me directly or email: jacoblyonpottery@gmail.com Where?: 5 Friesan st, cowarmup How much?: $49.99 per person How long?: 4:00 - 5:30 pm Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays Classes will also be available on Mondays during long weekends or school holiday periods This class is the same structure as my "Beginner Pottery Workshop, however it gives you the option to bring a couple of drinks, There may be people under 18 present so please be mindful and only have a couple, For events such a hens nights where people may be little unruly please book a private workshop out of respect for others in the class, contact Jacob to book a private class. What do you get: 1.5hr learning experience where you can learn the basics on the pottery wheel. You will learn the 3 basic forms: : Flatware (plate) : Bowls : Cylinders (mugs) You will only be doing wheel work during this workshop, the wedging clay, trimming, attaching handles, bisque firing, waxing and glazing will all be done by Jacob after the workshop is completed. This process takes 6-8 weeks to complete and costs an additional $25 per pot for Jacob to finish (the price of a small espresso cup) Minimum of 2 people need to book for class to go ahead, If I cannot get at least two people for that specific class, I will offer you a refund or reschedule option.

Cancellation Policy
Jacobs classes tend to book out regularly, There is limited availability especially for those with large groups and people tend to book weeks/months in advance. There is also only 6 spots in Jacobs classes, and taking up a spot can result in the potential loss of another booking. For this reason: CANCELLATION REQUESTS: Cancellations are non refundable. You can pass your booking onto friends if you cannot make it. Cancellations due to medical emergency can be requested (where rescheduling is no longer an option) these situations will be refunded in the form of a store credit, however this is subject to the specific matter and a doctor's note will need to be provided, Jacob will be the judge of the specific matter and will either approve or disapprove this request subject to his judgement. RESCHEDULE REQUESTS: Reschedule requests will result in a refund, (in the form of a Credit) which equates to the value of your initial booking cost. This will be provided once you have booked another class. (The new booking will need to be of the same value of your initial booking) This credit can be used on the day to finish pots, or to buy stuff from the studio. SHORT COURSE NOTE: At least two people are required for the daily classes to go ahead, if I cannot obtain at least two people you will receive the option to reschedule your booking or you'll receive a refund LONG COURSE NOTE: At least three people are required for the multi week classes to go ahead, if I cannot obtain at least three people you will receive the option to reschedule your booking or you'll receive a refund Specifics: You can only reschedule your bookings once, a second attempt to reschedule will result in a 100% cancellation fee. (unless a medical emergency see to cancellation policy above for details) You can also pass your booking onto friends if you cannot make it. In rare event of a double booking a refund will be offered, Jacob does not hold liability for system errors and mistakes.
