All of Jacobs designs are available for Pre Order, However if you can't find what you're looking for you may also request a custom order.

Choosing a colour is hard, there is so much variation with pottery with glaze options and that doesn't even touch the surface when you include different firing environments, For this reason please choose from the glazes below, This is my current range and what I have available, All Glazes come out slightly different each firing so do keep that in mind, These are hand made items and Makers Marks as-well as inconsistencies will show through, if you want a perfect piece of pottery go to Kmart ;).
If you wish to proceed with ordering one of my designs, Simply find it in the shop and choose the colour you want and a preorder option should appear, If this is not the case the pot may be a limited edition piece or the option is no longer available due to an outdated glaze or clay combination. Do note due to moving towards porcelain and limiting cross contamination, darker clay bodies as well as speckled clays will be no longer be available, The options will be limited to white stoneware and porcelain.

Photo: 3 of the same mugs, Same Glaze yet different finishes.
This Glaze is called Magic Blue, and as you can see there is 3 different types of finishes. The bottom one is a Matte blue, the middle is a Satin finish and the top is a glossy finish. Depending on entirely on kiln placement a 5-10 degree difference in a 1280 degree kiln makes this difference.
with the mattes appearing more at the bottom of the kiln and glossy ones at the top.
Not only is it kiln temperature, its also clay body and how thickly the glaze is applied, examples of this is the same Magic Blue glaze on porcelain. On porcelain the glaze tends to be brighter and lighter, and when applied thickly flows a lot more and create drips, This also splits between matte and glossy on the same piece! This makes it incredibly unpredictable but at the same time is the beauty of handmade pottery.

As you can see from the above photos there is a lot of variance that goes on with ceramics, and this doesn't even touch the surface of kiln problems, pots cracking in the kiln and the thousands of other issues that arise from handmade ceramics. For these reasons I do ask that you be patient with custom orders as delays can occur from nowhere and if pots fail in the kiln they will need to be remade from scratch. I also ask that you be reasonable with expectations from the kiln, in general 90% of the pottery will come out the same but inconsistency do occur and are a normal part of handmade wares. examples of all my current glazes can be found below. (just add the specific glaze name, to pre order or custom order from)
If you would like to custom order something which isn't displayed in my shop already fill out the form below.
